This is something many experience without even realizing what’s actually going on. It’s called ‘bi-lateral deficit’ and it points to an imbalance of strength in your legs.

And what does it mean?
No big deal? Well, it fact, it is a big deal. Because being proportionally stronger on one leg over the other can lead to muscular imbalances that can do a lot more than affect your deadlift.
Discrepancies like this can lead to imbalances throughout the body, and eventually, uneven strain on the tendons and ligaments, possibly leading to injury.
