The name originates from the two founders last names, Burt Baskin, and Irv Robbins. The logo features pink and blue letters B & R, and if you look closely, you’ll notice the number 31 embedded in between, which represents the 31 flavors you can choose from at Baskin Robbins. The number 31 also represents the days of the month and is meant to encourage exploring a new flavor for each day.
